The Government supports the 'metro' district of Ripollès and Osona

The Government will undertake a study of mobility among counties Osona and Ripollès, as claimed by the municipal representatives of the two counties, which also will be extended to the Garrotxa. This was confirmed by Manel Nadal, secretary of department on mobility, during his meeting yesterday in Barcelona hotel with a delegation of mayors from the area. Nadal also pledged to support the request of the mayors to implement urgently a train shuttle (subway district) between Centelles and Ripoll. To this end the department of mobility soon establish contacts with the management of proximities. The mobility study will be conducted within six months and will contain information on the activities and the flow of traffic between the three counties. This can be assessed the impact of the works to widen the C-17, which will last two years and will cause traffic restrictions road between Osona and Ripollès.
