The average occupancy tourist Easter slashing 85%

Average occupancy on Easter diminished 85% in the city of Barcelona hotels, according to data made public by the third deputy mayor and chief of the Economic Promotion Area of the Municipality, Jordi William Carnes.

Carnes said that, "drawing on the three holidays in the city center was about 100%, and the rest of the city 90%." "It's been a good week for the tourism hotels sector in terms of occupation," he added.

He assured that during this period, the majority of tourism Barcelona hotels comes from other autonomous communities, as traditionally happens at Easter, and "basically" is culturally and with a significant commercial component.
