City councils, business organizations, professional associations, unions and other socio-economic and cultural characteristics of the region of Bages in Barcelona, to a sixty, have joined the manifesto of the Chamber of Commerce of Manresa denouncing "poor" state of infrastructure in the Bages and "unfairness" with other parts of the country. The purpose of the chamber is sending the manifest to the president of the Spanish government, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, to the Generalitat, Jose Montilla, and the Minister of Land Policy in Obres Públiques, Joaquim Nadal. Among the signatories are professional associations for architects, engineers, doctors and lawyers, Fira Manresa, Pimec Catalunya Central, the Chamber of the Urban Propietat, Unió de Botiguers in Comerciants Manresa and Federació d'Associacions Veïns of the Bages. The president of the Chamber of Commerce in Manresa, Manel Rosell, justifies the initiative "because Bages deserves better."
