Tourism of Barcelona denies that hoteliers predatory pricing

Joan Gaspart criticizes becoming "a case or two on 500" and ensures that the organization of the Mobile World Congress is very pleased.
Tourism of Barcelona has denied today that hotels in the city have become predatory pricing taking advantage of the celebration of the international congress of mobile telephony and has asked "not convict a city as if it took advantage of its tourists that a hotel can make an improper action ".
The chairman of the executive Committee of Tourism of Barcelona and vice president of the Guild of hotels in Barcelona, Joan Gaspart, has referred to the criticism emanating these days for alleged price "abusive" to some hotels in the city.
"We are about to renew the contract for three more years [of Mobile World Congress] and it is a pity that full negotiations can go out voices critical of the actions of the city itself. Neither is right nor fair," he pointed out.
"There has been a case or two [of abusive price] about 500 hotels ... Yesterday morning a Romanian docked to a congressman in Montjuic. Does this mean that all Catalans are some robbers?. Unable to generalize ".
"It's for us to look at all we do. Yesterday I was all afternoon with the organizers of the congress and are happy. There has been an absolute fulfilment of the agreement which was signed with the hoteliers," he says.
