After the Turkey announced its intention to open another 100 golf courses, the tourism business of Spain felt the emergence of a serious competitor. Today Spaniards can boast the presence of more than 350 sites and stunning golf courses. In 2006, only one resort Costa del Sol has brought the country some 900 million euros. Of course, that Turkey still have to make great efforts to become a leader in this sector, the tourism market. Both countries are justifiably proud favorably warm climate, are about the same height above sea level and not giving way to one another in natural beauty and richness of culture.
