For the use of drinking water for other purposes may be fine in Barcelona



In the north-east Spain, where Barcelona hotels is the second largest city in the country, is the largest in the last 50 years drought. The lack of rainfall has meant that the water level in reservoirs dropped to 20%. Therefore, there are restrictions on the use of potable water in Barcelona hotels.

Violators will be forced to pay large fines. Thus, a fine of between 30 euros to 3 euros will be subjected to thousands of people washing potable water to private cars, watering home gardens, or filling swimming pools with water. Wash machines are allowed only in special paragraphs at filling stations, where previously supplied purified waste water for drinking is not useful.

Monitor compliance with the restrictions and impose fines for violations will be municipal inspectors and the police of Barcelona hotels.
